The first coffee shops that provided specialty coffee in Jakarta. Serving great coffee in a place that promoted friendships and collaboration with the community.

Shortly after opening our family-run shop we partnered and started roasting our own beans with Morph Coffee Roasters. Within the first year, our head barista, Doddy Samsura, received first place at the Indonesian Barista Championship and was the first Indonesian representative to compete in the World Barista Championships.

We are firm believer that craft arises from repetition of a known skill-set.  To us, coffee-making is a daily ritual that is continually refined.  The consistency of a quality cup stems from time-tested methods of extraction aimed at releasing the most from the coffee bean.  Our name is embedded in one of the simplest of these methods. 1:15 is a well-known coffee-to-water ratio that yields an ideal cup.  Our focus is to source quality beans and to respect and showcase the specific characteristics that set each batch apart. We are proud to showcase what the local cooperatives offer and give our customers a different perspective by highlighting coffee from different regions around the world.

One Fifteenth is excited to open our second outlet in Seminyak with the Potato Head Family who share that same value and vision as our small, dedicated team in Jakarta.  We endeavor to continue a rich local tradition of finely crafted brews made with the utmost care and conviction.

The same value of care continues into the kitchen with menu crafted by Head Chef, Hikaru Take.  Here you will find that wholesome attention to detail embodied in the One Fifteenth brand. Our kitchen takes cues from family recipes and homemade comfort. We source fresh eggs from our cousin’s farm for breakfast plates and our childhood friends at East Java & Co. compliment the menu with their baked breads and honey.

Our menus are continually changing and varied based on location. Please call us or check our shop's menu board for daily specials, local favorites and desserts.

We are always interested in sharing and learning with the broader coffee community.

If you are a barista, coffee roaster or someone who is in the coffee industry and are travelling to Jakarta or Bali, we would like to invite you to join us for a cross-cultural and educational experience. Coffee plantation visits, room and board can be offered for stays of 2 weeks and up to 2 months.
